I just took some time off photography to stand back and clear my head – I’ve been spending too much money. The funny thing is that I do not regret getting any of the new equipment. In other words, cool!
I am at the crossroads with the D600. I really do not know what to do with this one. It would be nice to get it because it is a FF D7000 and the controls are the same – commonality. On the other hand, if I get the D600, why do I need the D7000 and I made a commitment to the DX format. My D700 truly complements the D7000 because it does what the latter cannot do.
The D600 seems to be another great camera by Nikon and it comes with Xpeed 3. At this time, I’m not ready the shell out $2,100, because I am really very happy (bordering on ecstasy) with all my cameras: D700, D7000, and X1. The problem is that Nikon is making me unhappy because of their new cameras . That is not fair! I have to keep things in perspective – I did order the IPhone 5. I was told that I will get it when notified, probably before Christmas … 2013. I did get, in this election year, the All-American phone … made in China.
