Hi everyone, I'm from Italy, my english is not so good, so forgive me if I make some mistakes
I've just received a new Nikon D600, I took it out of the box, charged the battery, formatted a new SD and mounted a lens. I selected AUTO mode and the camera did not shoot!! Then I've tried to mount / umount lens (different lenses), remove and insert battery, changhe SD card, but nothing happened. After that it started working, with no apparent reason, for only about 100 shots, then the camera stopped working definitively.
I've tried factory reset, MF / AF, auto, PASM mode, and so on... But nothing happens.
The camera seems to measure the exposure, but doesn't try do achieve focus. It doesn't shoot in manual mode. The internal display sometimes shows flash symbol blinking, but it happens in manual mode also...
I've asked for a replacement, next monday I'll know if it will be replaced o sent to service...
Could it be a hardware problem? Has somebody else encountered this problem? I tried many searches on google, but it seems that nobody had this problem!
