At the time I was shooting wedding dress samples for a bridal shop. The shop used the photographs to sell the dresses on eBay. I was shooting 20 to 25 dresses at a time, 5 poses each. Each shot was in the portrait orientation. With the 17-55mm I could create an image of the full dress, both front and back, on the manikin, and closeup images for the details, without moving the tripod or adjusting the lighting. I shot right into the computer and had a Photoshop preset to size the jpg images.
It was not art. It was a real assembly line production.
