We are at the point of graphical layout on Mastering the Nikon D600. The book will be going to press in a short time. Several excellent images have been submitted under our D600 image submission thread here:
We have a strong need for an excellent example of a flying bird to adorn the chapter on Autofocus (tracking). If you have a VERTICAL flying bird shot or two, or one that can be cropped to vertical at 6x9 inches that would be excellent.
There have been fewer images submitted than normal for this book, probably because the thread was not pinned to the top, as usual. However, there are 13 chapters in this book and we need even more images to choose from for full-page, chapter-beginning images. The pictures must have a certain "wow" factor that shows how a skilled photographer with a Nikon D600 camera can make beautiful pictures.
As always, not only will you have the immense pleasure of seeing your image in worldwide publication in a popular, best-selling, NikoniansPress book, but you will also receive a free copy of the book. Join the many Nikonians who have been published in the last eight Mastering the Nikon DSLR series NikoniansPress books (this is number nine in the series).
Make your compressed submissions in vertical JPEG format here. Full size images will be requested in a few days:
Thank you, and I wish you success in being included in Mastering the Nikon D600. The Nikonians editorial team and fellow Nikonians are eager to see your VERTICAL image submission.
