I use my computer monitor for the test too. I find it works well by using ISO 100 and overexposing by +1 EV to avoid digital noise. The white blank screen from MS-Word works fine for me.

It shouldn't matter if the exposure is long or there is camera shake so I keep the ISO at 100 to avoid noise.

In Lightroom 4 I use the lens profile to reduce vignetting and set Saturation = -100
Clarity = +100
Contrast = +100

I have this saved as a preset so I can compare shots from one test to another over time.
