For my purposes this lens would be fine for street photography and limited use in low light settings where I want 1.8 as opposed to 2.8 where I have overlap with another lens. If I want a real low profile lens I would consider it. I may have some IQ fall off in corners but wiuld be getting the other benefits of high iso performance from the fx body.
I wouldn't use for landscape. I guess I was just surprised by how well it did. Also I'm not sure I would ever use Auto DX mode on this camera as you could always crop in post and you may be surprised by how much of the frame your dx glass covers. I have no reason to try any other dx glass on this camera so it's mostly a mute point for me.
