Thanks for the positive report. I do expect to give DX on the D600 a try. However, I'm spoiled by being able to use two bodies at events.
I'm especially interested in having the 70-200 become a much more useful lens. Mounted on a DX body, it is hard to stay far enough away from subjects to get the whole body in the frame. When they're moving (as in dance), all bets are off and it's too easy for odd bits of the body to fly out of frame just as the exposure is made.
