Thanks. I absolutely agree the D600 is a great camera, and I have no doubt you'll enjoy it, but I want to make sure that people know both cameras can be used across a wide spectrum of subjects and shooting situations. As an example, my wife and I are making a short trip to the bay area, including some time in San Francisco and further up the coast. I'm just taking casual photos, with no tripod, and I'm taking the D800e rather than the D600. I wouldn't do that if it were only of use in a studio, etc. Unfortunately, a lot of on-line reviews tend to exaggerate things out of proportion, primarily to attract more readers. Information and nuances are lost in the process. As we all know, some are worse than others in that respect.
