Everyone, thank you for the many comments on this thread. I have started to get paranoid for the first time, since when I started using my DSLR (D90) back in 2009, I had little or know concerns until I got the D7000 during last year. So far little issue with the D700. However, I do have to use the rocket blower between lens changes often and do an occasional check for dust. While I have figured up to to this point of not getting a D600 anytime soon (that could change given this new reduced price, I see!), having this information to supplement some of the other resources I have is helpful. Now I understanding that a lot of the D600 concerns might be just the normal stuff being said by more people coming to FX and that sensor will show a lot more at higher resolution and especially at cropping. That is reassuring, since I sure didn't want to buy a defective camera (if the D600 has these problems), if I do buy it.
