Just bought a D600 from B&H. It will be here on Monday the 3rd. I was (and continue to be) concerned with the dust issue, even more so after reading this post from DPReview.
Canadian photographer Kyle Clemens tested a new D600, only changing the lens once. He shot two sets of 500 images and shows increasing dust. His conclusion is that the dust must be coming from within the camera itself.
I'm not going to worry too much about the dust. I am very disappointed that it appears the dust is coming from within the camera, but what every camera you have you need to eventually deal with dust on the sensor.
I used sensor brushes from VisibleDust when I got my Nikon D100 and then use them on the D200 and D300. I visited the VisibleDust Web site and discovered that they have many new product, including the Arctic Butterfly 724 (Super Bright). I think this may solve any potential problem. If not, they have other products that will.
