Sorry, but video live view does not work with remote control release. But you can move into remote control mode and change aperture, then move back to another mode and film away. It's a bit quicker than exiting live view mode.

So all you can do for video while shooting is use an AFD or MF lens and adjust aperture on the lens itself. Mind you this is a great fix.

Now I find that I can adjust aperture in still live view no matter what? I have forgotten what that "bug" was, and perhaps there was never a bug for still photography. If so may have posted some mis-information, for which I apologise.
