It is still a brilliant camera and I have not noticed anything on regular day to day images. I haven't tried correcting it but I doubt it would be too tricky.
In all fairness I shoot point out that I am a serial lens changer without a zoom lens below 70mm. Java has plenty of dust too...
I have made some headway in reducing the dust by using the cleaning feature and giving it a good hard blow with a blower brush. The "Southern Cross" has now disappeared. And of course I hardly ever shoot at f/16, or shoot white walls.
