I've had my D200 for many years. I waited for 8 months after it was announced to get it. Not just with cameras, but any new product these days follows the 80% rule - get it to 80%, get out on the market, work like hell to clean up the last 20% before too many customers get mad (Think Microsoft, Apple, etc) I've been waiting for a full frame that would be above 18-20 mp, just to get the added resolution and the updates in technology, but also intended to wait the obligatory 8 months for the bugs to be resolved. Now I actually have a choice - D800 or D600. Lots of similarities, but there are key/critical differences. I'll be putting together my list and checking it thrice. I find all the discussion here to be of great value. (I can do without the emotion and condescension though) Be happy that the Nikon world now has options for all of us that have committed to this brand.
