Looks like it's in stock at the Best Buy near me. 30 days, no restrictions. I looked at B&H, but they have a 30 day, less than 200 exposure limit. I can take that many shots in 15-20 minutes.
Sure, I'll have to pay sales tax, but it ends up evening out as a quasi-rental if I keep it.
Now, final thing:
I've read up on the whole "sensor dust/oil" thing and it seems some folks think it's normal sensor dust (though should a camera NIB have it??), others say it's oil and the design of the camera is the problem.
I haven't done an actual sensor cleaning before (I'm careful with my D200, and merely blow it with a Giottos if I need to), but am willing to learn. That said, I am unsure at what point having to clean a sensor becomes more of a "it's a bad design" versus anything else.
