It's a shame that the same number of shots weren't taken with each body, which to my mind would have been a fairer test.

Looking at the numbers, the 600 shot 93 frames v/s the d4's 156. If we multiply the 600 up to the same number of frames then we get these results:

1 star - 47
3 star - 25
5 star - 83

If we assume that only 3 and 5 stars would be keepers and 1 star would be for the bin, then this gives us the following keep/bin scores for each body:

d4 - keep 120 / bin 36 (77% / 23%)
d800 - keep 115 / bin 40 (74% / 26%)
d600 - keep = 109 / bin 47 (70% / 30%)

Sure looks to me like the 800 and the 600 really aren't that far apart..

EDIT > Unless the reason for the lower number of shots on the 600 is that it couldn't acquire focus??
