I didn't really offer me much over my D3s for the rather expensive price. Had it come with the sensor of the D800 or the D600, I'd have a pair. That funky card setup threw me off too. I cancelled my order right after the D800 was announced.
The D800 with a grip is "good", but not great. I couldn't do a 6-8 hour day on one without a lot of pain. I did 3 8+ hour days shortly after getting the camera (before I got the grip) and my hand went numb each day.
After shooting my D7000 for a year, I declared I would no longer purchase any cameras from Nikon which didn't have at least 16MP. When they brought out the D3200 at 24MP, I was SURE that was to be the new standard. When they announced the D4 at 16MP for $6k, I just shook my head.
>I really don't understand why you do not use a D4? >I would have one if it weren't for weight and price.
