Agree, more than worth it. Love the big viewfinder and view, love the picture quality and color from the big sensor. Love the ISO and low light capability. Love the size and feel of the body in my arthritic hands - it is in my Goldilocks Zone.
Been trying out some older, great FX lenses too. My Old 'Beast' (28-70mm f/2.8) just loves this camera, for but one example. The 'Cream Machine' 85m f/1.4 D, loves it too. It's a whole new day to experiment, with much mor coming. . . .
Yes, it makes some lenses only good for my backup D7000, but, from this long time amateur's viewpoint, this was well worth the chance to explore FX, And I like it a LOT. It's a whole other experience, even with just JPEG's.
