Post your beautiful D610 shots and tell everyone they were taken with a D810. Nobody will be able to tell the difference.

A D8x0 won't solve that problem. All of Nikon's full-frame cameras have the focus points grouped in the middle. So do Canon's. It's a result of the technology used. The D610's are a little more concentrated, that's all.

Or shoot in Live View mode. Or DX crop mode. Or just live with it because you're right, it's not that bad.
