I suspect you may be leading here. I would think you want whatever gives you the best resolving power (not necessarily the best sharpness).
Have you tried to see what level of capture sharpening gives you the best resolution when viewed? E.g. to see fine structure or detail?
I'm still trying to answer a similar question for the D800 -- my sharpening technique (much less sophisticated than yours) is to view at about 2:1, and sharpen until it is a bit "crunchy". So with more pixels do I now view at 1:1 and do the same?
Which relates to your artistic sharpening -- does one view (to evaluate it) at less zoom than you would? Or equivilent DPI or... ?
