"Strange edges on HDR merges"

Have any of you noticed thin bright lines along the top or bottom of your merged HDR files when merging with CS6?

I find that I have to crop slightly at the bottom or top to get rid of it for some images.

Is it a function of the CS6 merge process or the D800 sensor?
