I think DX lenses indicate a DX user better than going by the camera. I have all FX lenses and a D200, but I never bought DX lenses due to my desire to eventually go to an FX digital camera. The D700 was the first one in my price range, but then I was unemployed. Now the D800 is in my price range and I am making the plunge. The original poster has FX lenses like me.

Shoot nature with respect and don't trample it or startle its inhabitants. :)
