It is officially announced and on the Nikon site. My hopes are still up for High ISO performance. I like everything else about the D800, especially price. I may not have enough money when the D4 is ready to pick up.
If the focusing speed and accuracy are better than the D3 (not D3s) and the pictures better at ISO 6400, I will get the D800 instead.
Bring on the Hi ISO "Hands On" test, pictures, and DxO comparisons.
