Interesting. Everytime I've looked (before) they said new.
I just went through 4 batteries, and 3 said new, one was on "2".
Interestingly as well, the "2" one said 67% charged. It was one of my spares, and I regularly (about once a month) charge them all. Occasionally I randomly swap one for the one in use and put it into the spares, without (unfortunately) a process to ensure I do this evenly. But it absolutely should have been near 100%, as the others (charged at the same time in the spare pile) were.
I bought all of these within a couple months of each other.
It is POSSIBLE that I used this '2' a lot more than the others.
But that was quite a surprise.
Also reminds me of another puzzle - why do the EN-EL18's have a calibrate (and need it) but these do not.
PS. Two EN-EL18's and both show new, and spare (charged the same time as the EN-EL15's) was 95%.
