Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree that shopping local is a good thing, even with the exchange rate, shipping, and duties, the price out of B&H is significantly cheaper than buying local. Sad but true.
I guess my primary question is, if I buy from B&H do I get a US warranty or a Canada warranty, and in the unlikely event it needed service where would I send it. I've asked B&H but have not received a reply. I've only used Nikon service once, for a dead 18-200vr, a lens I bought for hiking but never use because of the annoying lens creep.
