This is probably too much to expect, but I assume once edited you have to re-edit if you take into lightroom? I.e. it doesn't produce compatible XMP's by chance does it?
I take a Surface Pro with me frequently, and do a rough edit on it, then just take the NEF and XMP back into lightroom to keep any edits I did (mostly crops and captions, but some exposure). I find it is very helpful, I can have all the shots culled and a rough edit done on the tablet, then not loose any of that work when I take it into lightroom on the desktop (I just import the XMP, I don't bother exporting and importing catalogs, but you could do that as well).
I had a Nexus 10, but got the pro mostly because it could do photoshop -- the Nexus 10 was MUCH nicer in almost all regards other than running windows.
