Well your 50 and 85mm are great glass so you are off to a great start. If I had those two already, I'd really consider adding the 28mm f/1.8!
On the zoom side, if I was starting fresh like you I'd give serious consideration to the f/4 zoom set (16-35, 24-120, and 70-200). I have the f/2.8 24-70 and 70-200 duo, but starting fresh like you are and being already in possession of the f/1.8 prime set, they would go very nicely with the f/4 zooms.
I have the D4/D800E and based on what you describe, I think the D800 would be the better all-rounder fit. Isn't the D4 more of an extremes solver? I.e. lowest of the low light, fastest of the fast cameras, toughest of the tough
The D800 really is a well balanced camera and takes gorgeous video too (of course the D4 does great video too, especially on the telephoto end with its CX video mode).
