"RE: For Jan"

I am not sure if I am speaking with Jan or AJ...but OH yes...I don't have the 24mm or the 55mm here..they are in a bag..and I will fetch them out soon...
But I do have the 135mm bought at the same time right here and I had a look and it does have exactly the same x screws..and it does have the two sets..one small and one big..and f/16 is in reddish pink. I did get them at exactly the same time as the FE.

It does not say AI on the lens..anywhere..I just have numbers..is that normal?
I am not sure how to put the info in but I will read carefully when I reach that point. It is so wonderful that I might be able to use them! ''

I bought a Nikon 7l00 and was not happy with it, so I sent it back. I had a return confirmation on Friday..so I am thinking I should have my credit for it and the extras I bought by Wednesday..and then I will order my D800. I am really looking forward to it.

The two lenses 24mm and 55mm I have had al these years in great condition. About a year ago..I opened my camera bag and they are in hard leather cases..but they were also wrapped in a thin sheet of foam which they came with for extra protection. Well, the foam disintegrated..and is all over the place and stuck on the lenses. So when I order the 7l00 B and H recommended a fluid with a cloth which I bought and have. I just have not used it yet..I put off dealing with them because it seems a low priority. Now I was going to buy compressed air but the sales person at B and H said you cannot mail it..so I will try a hair dryer on cool setting to see if I can get some of it off and then the rest with the fluid. The killer is that I had these lenses for years and used them when I was in Greece and it could sometimes reach 110 and more..for years I was there..and absolutely nothing happened to them. Nor in NYC I can add. Only when I moved down here to VA did this happen. I think they can be saved. Fingers Crossed..

I really appreciate the photo I took a screen shot...Your not an old geezer..I am sure I am older than you are. But hey thats great because a lad would not have the info. You have no idea how much I appreciate this information. I will come back here a lot I think. I mean even upgrade. But first i have to get the camera.

Thank you so much so so so much.
Phyllis
