I remember similar concerns when digital pixel count started to exceed 35mm film, most of the concerns didn't materialise. However, as the pixel count increases, it will start to highlight handling techniques and also the quality of glass. These only start to be an issue if viewing at 75~100% pixel magnification, how many people printout at this??? Some minor issues don't really materialise at A3 prints etc, only really become an issue at A2+.
I echo the views of 25ASA film, I started in photography 32 years ago, modern photographers don't they're born when you look at photography 32yrs ago LOL.
