Aha! You caught me! Yeah, elbows on the table, or on your hip bone points, one elbow slipping in the martini drippings, and hope for the best that one frame will be steady. Fortunately no slapping mirror to worry about, just the quiet "snick" of the Leica M3 (or Nikon S2) shutter. And then the worry if that split image had been really lined up on the eye liner.
Remember when Ektachrome finally went ASA 200 (or whatever) and Kodak published the photo of the pretty blonde by candlelight all over the magazines of the US? Actually, a fairly poor image, but CANDLELIGHT!
