Actually not issues to me. Last winter I build a 6 core 3.2 GHz CPU machine with 64 GB of RAM and plenty of hard drive space. So far it chews up any D800 files I have thrown at it.
As to the narrower effective depth of field, I welcome it. That is one of the things I missed most going from film to my D200.
Shoot nature with respect and don't trample it or startle its inhabitants. :)
