Kenneth -- You can call APS in Morton Grove a day or two after you are informed by the shipper that it has arrived. They will probably be able to tell you what the problem is, what and when it will be returned. These people have been absolutely wonderful to me on replacing two hot shoes on D700s. They also check the whole camera every time they get hold of it and return it to original specs. I hope you saved all you special choice settings on a flash or SD card -- it will be reset to factory "new" settings when you unpack it.
