I am still working out a firmer regime of when/where the D4 AF beats D800E. I have the impression the D4 handles all out action AF better. I also feel D4 AF is faster or possibly more accurate, the feeling I get is I wave the D4 vaguely in the direction of my subject and it nails the heck out of it. Caution to reader - very subjective on my part, I intend to continue to evaluate this impression, and form a more assured impression.
