I am grateful for your breakdown and taking time to examine the images. Overall though and not being either comfortable or very experienced in Wedding photography the couple enjoyed the results so I guess nothing else matters.

Absolutely and when not pushed by time I do occasionally use one. This is because I only have the 77mm white balance cap and most of my lenses are 77mm thread. When doing macro for example (62mm) or using my 50mm lens. then 18% grey card would be utilised. However, for most situations I do find the auto white balance does a good job, always allowing the RAW file can be adjusted post process.
