As noted above, I'll see what I can do about providing images that satisfy everyone's requests. But yes, that's what I'm seeing. For example, when using aperture priority, the camera in "normal" shooting mode chooses a shutter speed that's typically twice as fast (and therefore produces an image that is one stop underexposed), relative to LiveView. The LiveView exposure looks to be much more "correct", and the other exposure looks to be clearly underexposed.
