I got my MB-D11 a month ago. For its price (at the time), I expected a higher build quality. The dials are a little too stiff and the navigation dial does not rotate accordingly. Holding the camera vertically, I expected the left arrow to go left, instead it goes up.
When I mounted a big lens on a ball-head tripod, I cannot find a sweetspot where I can keep the friction and at the same time make minor adjustment with the vertical grip. When I did that, I notice that the grip came *slightly* off the base. There should be a hook or something to make the grip attached more securely.
But I do like the 2A battery case. The Nikon battery is like $60.
