I'm not talking about card reader-based data transfer speeds, but rather actual in-camera write speed which is considerably slower than the maximum speeds advertised for the cards when they're used under ideal conditions. Rob Galbraith's card tests, in-camera, are definitive. The link is for the D800/800e CF and SD tests. No published D7100 test results yet from Galbraith, but my own D7100 in-camera write test timings seem to be about 55MB/sec.
