I can add Hockey to the list of things the Auto ISO on D7000 has helped. By keeping the Aperature at F2.8 to F3.2, the glass is out of the depth of field. Cleans up pretty good with NX2. Hockey, like wildlife, can be fast, the subject does not like to stay still very long. Light is constanly changing and with the high ISO on the D7000, we can get a great shot with minimal light, use faster shutter speed therefore reducing blur, and capture a nice bokey with the aperature selected..
