Not quite sure what you mean. As mentioned, if I adjust the EV my shots are then over- or under-exposed. The only thing that is not what I am used to (from a D300 and a D7000) is the positioning of the histogram.

Would be grateful if you could take the time to explain in more detail so that a non-techie like myself will understand.
