Given your criteria we were basically there on the ISO performance with the D7000.
The D7100 is LIKELY to perform better still in this regard (but I guess you figured that bit already).
We have no real tests or reviews yet (I guess you figured that out too).
I'd be astonished if you ended up disappointed, on so many levels the sensors have improved since the D80. High ISO performance and vastly improved DR you will notice by quite some margin, for example
