There are now three cameras in Nikon's lineup that exceed the dynamic range of the D7000. They are:

D800
D4
D600

The D700 does not, the D3s does not.

Enjoy your camera. It's one of Nikon's best BY FAR. I wish it had a little faster FPS. I"d by several more.
