Have to say that I feel Nikon couldn't care less once they have sold their products. I had a miserable time with the well documented dead battery syndrome which took forever to resolve. Their attitude to the dead battery issues I had were appalling. They had a known issue with dead batteries and did nothing, never contacted me, although they knew that there were problems and they had my contact information, which they require from you when registering the warranty. I guess that is just so they can sell the information. I am generally happy with the products but Nikon as a company? Awful! I still worry about my decision to buy the D-7000, hope it does not develop the problems that plagued the D-200 300 series.
