Had something similar happen ages ago with one of me film SLRs. The camera was hanging around my neck as I was scrambling up a steep rock slide. The camera swung forward hitting one of the rocks locking the mirror in the up position. I had to remove the batteries to release it.

Glad to hear all is back to working!
