You can push the record button immediately after each 20-29 minutes Video segment.
It should do well over one hour without overheating unless outside in the Sun on a hot day.
I generally try to take all my photos with the sun at the back and my body shading the camera anyway.
And on a hot day I will be under some kind of shade if only an umbella.
