A few other manufacturers (Sony and Pentex) have their Stabilization ( Vibration Reduction) systems built into the camera body.
Both Nikon (VR) and Canon (IS) build their Stabilization systems into the lens.
The D5200 like All Nikon DSLR bodies fully support VR lenses.
