I don't wist to open old arguments on the subject which are well documented in the Nikonian records but hasn't Chris just discovered something which some of us pointed out previously?

That is - My D700 behaves exactly as does his "suspect" camera and always exposes .3 to 1 stop over where other members say their d700s are perfect.
Perhaps we now have the answer as one member owns two similar models which exhibit both sides of the coin?
