Hi Chris.

Did you check Custom Setting Menu b6? This setting allows you to set semi-permanent exposure compensation that is not reflected in anything the camera shows. You have to use the joystick to the right then up to "yes" then you can set semi-permanent exposure compensation for all three metering modes (separately).
