"RE: My D700 won't take a picture"
I have not used the SB910 as a master on top of the TT1.....I have not learned how to use it this way......Here's how I use the PW's and strobes / flashes. On Camera - D700AC3 control (allows you to control 3 seperate strobes in Manual or TTL)TT1 - sits on top of the D700, below the AC3 controllerTT5 - used to communicate with the TT1 from the camera attached to SB600, 900 or 910.AC9 controller - used to connect my Alien Bees to my TT1 controller and AC3I have backups of everything......two AC3's and two TT1's, with 4 TT5's.I can utilize up to 4 light (combo SB strobes and Alien Bees) using the TT5's. with the TT1 and AC3 controller.I use this setup extensively in my food shooting shots...1.) I use an Alienbee 400 with AC9 cotroller attached to a TT5 on a boom with a 32x40 softbox.2.) I use an SB910 on the floor below the shooting table to back light illuminate.3.) I then use the two Interfit constant lights using blue bulb 500 Watts.Hope this helps...Go to Flickr.com (Cardelli Creatives) and I posted a bunch of how to set up pics in a food shoot. Here's th elink to some veggie and food shots..http://www.flickr.com/photos/wanaflatsfish/sets/72157633195502198/Here's some more details....http://www.flickr.com/photos/wanaflatsfish/sets/72157632886266352/dc
