Not everyone uses their cameras as machine guns. I'm sure that there will be used D700s with 3,000 to 7,000 clicks available from photographers that want "every shot to count." None of us are "swamees" so you will just have to check the ads. I had mine for 2 years and sold it with 5,000 clicks. I also had a Hasselblad MF camera for about 15 years, and if I was to guess, it probably had about 3,000 clicks on it, but in those days you had to pay for film and spend time to develop and print the negatives so we weren't so casual with our shots.
I put my D3s into machine gun mode last summer and took about 700 shots in one day. Never again! That's not photography, that's "I won't miss a shot because my camera keeps firing no matter what I'm dong. Even if I'm eating lunch, my camera will get the picture."
