Nope. That's what I'm trying to avoid!

In ye olden days, I had to carry my very modest OM-2, fitted with (if I was lucky) a 300 f4.5 or more likely that and a Tamron 500f8 + a 70-210 Vivitar and a short, Sigma 18-35 zoom.

Sometimes I carried two OM-2s- one for tele, one for short.

Had to lug a pole (telescope- in my case a Russian 36X spotting scope) around too.

Also had to have a notebook, and a pen and had to keep writing stuff.

Now, I have the 300s & Bigma. (ok & the D700 +16-35 (indoors) and 24-120 (outdoors).

No more writing. Photo everything- write it up later.

Actually, that's not true. I still scribble, but only for corroberation!
