"RE: Why Shoot at ISO 100?"
Brad,For every camera for which I have test data, all Nikon DSLRs except the D60 and D700, the lowest ISO provides the highest total Dynamic Range.As you go below the lowest numbered ISO there is a less highlight DR but more shadow DR with the total DR being higher.So, if you watch your exposure you get the "best" Image Quality (IQ) in terms of DR and noise by shooting at ISO 100.
